Genuine Shearling B-3 Bomber Jacket by Cockpit USA

The sheepskin B-3 bomber jackets, replacing outerwear which did not provide enough warmth, were introduced in WWII to ensure that crewmen were kept warm while flying at high altitudes in unpressurized cabins. Jeff Clyman, founder and President of Cockpit USA, developed in the late 1980's the long-lost leather finish once used in WWII and added side entry hand warmer pockets updating the Genuine B3 Bomber Jacket to contemporary standards. Please note that the shearling is tanned to “antique” as you wear it, giving “highs and lows” in the color so it looks as if you had this jacket since WWII. This will not affect the durability of thison genuine leather jacket. Jacket length hits at natural waist. Luxurious, historic, and made in the USA. Professionally leather clean.
